The Southern Maryland SportPlex & Learning Center ("The Plex" or "SMSPLC") is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) that will operate a multisport complex, located in Waldorf, MD and will service five counties within Southern Maryland offering a wide range of learning, physical fitness programs and recreational activities. The total size of the SportPlex will be 100,000 sq. ft. on three levels. The outdoor fields which are football, lacrosse, track, baseball, soccer, tennis, concession stand and play area for small children this area will be 30,000 sq. ft. and the parking area will be 20,000 sq. ft. The total size of the complete SportPlex will be on 150 ac. The multisport complex will include a fitness and lifestyle center, gymnasium, a full size basketball court, learning centers, computer room, offices and conference rooms, daycare, concession stand, Pro shop, sauna, youth center, teen center, swimming pool, educational programs, college bound program, tutoring,  before/after school care, summer enrichment classes (reading, math, science, and arts) and many other amenities that will provide the opportunity to improve overall learning and physical health for each client. This business will be comprised for very knowledgeable and highly trained staff members that will have the ability to offer clients with a vast wealth of information and recommendations regarding their physical fitness needs.
