The Southern Maryland SportPlex & Learning Center ("The Plex" or SMSPLC") is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3 ) that will operate a multisport complex, located in Waldorf, MD, but will service five counties within Southern Maryland. offering a wide range of physical fitness programs and recreational activities. The total size of the SportPlex will be 100,000 sq ft. on three levels. The inside of the SportPlex will include a fitness and liftestyle center, gymnasium, wellness center, full size basketball court, teen learning center, swimming pool, offices, computer room, conference rooms and many other amenities that will provide the opportunity to improve overall learning and physical health for each client. The business will be comprised of very knowledgeable and highly trained staff members. The outdoor fields which are football, lacrosse, track, baseball, skateboard, soccer, tennis, and concession stand.
ABOUT US
Mission: To provide residents of Southern Maryland and the surrounding area a facility:
· Help Adult/Youth achieve their own optimum level of Wellness
· Youth amateur sports
· Adult physical fitness training
· Youth and adult learning
Vision: One candidate solution would be a centralized Southern Maryland SportPlex & Learning Center to enable personal development of local citizens by providing a safe, high quality youth sports, athletic and learning facility. Youth Center
Something for everyone!
This group of children are allowed in the youth center, They will have access to classroom, educational program, pool, basketball court, game room, after/before school programs, summer camps, tutoring, and outdoor fields. You must be 5 to be in this area.
TEENAGER / AGES 13-18
This group of teens will are allowed in the teen center. They will have access to teen center, educational program, college-bound program, social life activities, pool, basketball court, game room, and outdoor fields.
**Teenagers 18 years old MUST be in high school to be allowed in the teen center.
